The Artificial Intelligence – Natural Language Processing – Machine Learning (AI-NLP-ML) Research Group (https://ai-nlp-ml.github.io/) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Patna invites applications for multiple technical positions to work in the research group, led by Dr. Asif Ekbal. These positions are funded by the Govt bodies, including the flagship Bhasini Mission of Meity, and industries.

This is a rolling advertisement for project-based hiring, and positions will be filled from time to time.

📌 Positions:

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Junior Research Associate (JRA)
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Senior Research Associate (SRA)

📌 Minimum Qualification:

a. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Junior Research Associate (JRA):

• B.Tech./B.E. in relevant disciplines such as Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics & Computing, Electronics Engineering
• MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science)
• 1One year of working experience in AI, NLP, ML, Multimodal AI, LLMs, GUI/Web Development, Data Management

b. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Senior Research Associate (SRA):

• M.Tech./M.E. in relevant disciplines such as Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Electronics Engineering
• Practical Experience in AI, NLP, ML, Multimodal AI, LLMs

📌 Preference:

Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in pursuing a PhD at IIT Patna.

💰 Indicative Salary Range:

₹42,000 to ₹70,000 per month, depending on position, qualifications, and experience.
